8-24-77 - I took a day off from my travels today to reflect on the disturbing things I had seen thus far. Murderous band of Raiders, courpses every which way, Ants burning down a town because of a scientist's rushed experimental mistake. I also was held in town by Doc Church. He said my wounds were too great to go right back out. So Silver and myself went around town to all the shops and hawked off all our salvage. The town seems to engoy hearing of my feats. And I know they enjoy the "toys" and "suveniors" I bring back for them. Dad looks at me different now. With more respect and pride. I wonder if he braggs like "Have you heard what Lucas Simms's son is doing out there lately?" to every traveler that comes into town. I told Moria that she was right about the store,I think im going to finish her book. That is going to be my main abjective for a bit. After i go to Rivet City and ask around for Bryan's Family. Moria asked me to get irratiated... so i took a bath next to the bomb. I swear I was glowing when i was done. She did some experiments on me and now i heal faster when I get a ton of radiation. Great, now I have the regeneration of a ghoul and the sight of an ant... am I even human any more? I'll just say yes. Well, time for bed now.

8-25-77 - I've got Enough food to last me for a while. And before I left town I made my first Nuka-Grenade!! I'm so excieted!!! I can't wait to blow up a few Raiders with it. hehehe. Setting out early today. 6:30 am. Going to head down to Rivet City and see about helping out that Bryan kid.
I Passed Wilhelm's Warf again on my way to Rivet City, stopped in to say hello to Grandmother Sparkle. She apprecitated the company. A little south of there i came across a few raiders who took up base under a bridge. I ran in there and took care of them. I swear Silver likes the taste of Raider or something, because he attacks them viciously. I know i never want to be on the receving end of his bites.
There was a big white building across the river. There were metal raftings all around it. Area around the building was swamped with super mutants. i had to use Frag mines, all my pistol shots, an assualt rifle i picked off the raiders, and their own hunting rifles against them. I saw a camp they had set up but I ran past it because I was low on supplies. Once I refil in Rivet City I'll take them on.
Once on the ship i saw a Girl named Mei Wong, hse seemed frightened so I talked to her to see what was a matter. She confided in me that she was a runaway slave. I gave her 25 caps and told her to buy a gun and some ammo to gaurd herself. I found Vera whom has decided to take Bryan in. It made me feel great to hear that. I'm going to go tell him and tell him the path that is safest. But first i must clear that camp out.
Cleared that camp out. There was about five of them in total. In the innermost part of the camp was a captive. I untied her and sent her on her way to freedom. She offered me some supplies but I refused, after all she would need them more then I do. Now I'm going to get to grayditch as fast as i can and tell Bryan about his Aunt. Then go home for some much earned sleep.
I finally made it home. The look on Bryan's face made me feel great. He was so sinserly happy to have a home. It warmed my heart. I ran into Doc Hoff outside of town. Sold him all the guns I got off of the super mutants in that camp. Tomorrow I head out to the Minefield that Moria told me about. A "Ghost Town" sounds interesting. Well, ill need a good nights sleep before then. Silver smells like he could use a bath. I think I'll do that before bed.
